I like to help students better enjoy learning. I hold a BA degree in Math Education. I also have a MA degree in Education in Literacy. I have a lot of experience helping individuals prepare for the math portion of the SATs. I have work with tutoring companies and privately to help students learn more skills to improve their test scores. I do love working in groups, but I especially love working individually with each child. I think everyone deserves one-on-one attention and this extra focus can help students achieve great results.I understand that without proper preparation, the SAT can be scary and stressful. I work with my students to make them feel more confident with the math topics on the SAT. I also have experience helping individuals with their literacy needs. This includes young children and even college students. I like to make learning enjoyable and fun. I'm constantly coming up with new ways to make my tutoring sessions fun and exciting. I can help with test preparation, math learning and reading and writing topics. When I'm not tutoring, I like to spend time playing ice hockey and fostering kittens.
