I studied Human Development and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pacific Oaks College (a private, not-for-profit college) in Pasadena, California. I am presently pursuing a master's degree in Human Development, specializing in College Teaching. I have extensive work experience of more than 20 years. I have taught as a kindergarten and preschool teacher, staff and parent educator, administrator, and instructor in Behavioral Sciences at a community college. I was also an assistant teacher for special needs kids in 3rd grade through kindergarten. I am most fulfilled when I help an individual to be able to grasp the concepts of the material and fully understand it. Subjects I am able to tutor include Special Education, Study Skills, Sociology, Elementary Math, Social Sciences, Psychology, Human Development, Reading, Math, Phonics, and English.When I am not teaching or tutoring, I love to play with my dog (a beagle), read, and play World of Warcraft.
