My degree in kinesiology/exercise science is very fitting with myself being an avid exerciser, and I feel that physical activity is the foundation for a healthy life. I studied abroad in Madrid, Spain, completing my minor in Spanish and immersing myself in a new culture, while gaining fluency in the Spanish language as all of my coursework was in Spanish. I enjoy playing my guitar, making music, and exploring my creative side. I thrive on learning new things and working with people. Throughout my college years, I have come to understand what it takes to be successful in the classroom.
